Old Southern Pacific Depot ~ built in 1892, now houses the Medina County Museum.
Front Street and Downtown ~ original town site including buildings erected in 1890, many restored to original condition.
Fohn Building ~ originally built in D'Hanis in 1840's and moved to present site in 1897. Used to hold Indian Chief Geronimo overnight on the way to San Antonio.
Fred Metzger Home ~ first home built in Hondo in 1876, now a private residence.
Medina County Courthouse ~ erected in 1893 after an election moved the county seat from Castroville to Hondo.
W. A. Schmidt Home ~ built in 1907 (Castro Colonies)
Hondo Air Base ~ World War II site of largest navigational training school in the world.
Mission Valley ~ site of the first black settlement in Texas.
Old D'Hanis ~ ruins and restored early homes in one of Castro's colonies, dating from 1840's.
St. Dominic Church Ruins and Cemetery ~ ruins of first church and graves dating back to the 1840's.
D'Hanis Brick and Title ~ established in 1880, still operating.
